The work

What you'll
be doing.

01

DBD Plasma Research

Dielectric Barrier Discharge (DBD) plasma generates cold, non-thermal plasma at atmospheric pressure. Your work touches on how reactive oxygen and nitrogen species (RONS) accelerate chronic wound healing — understanding treatment parameters like power, frequency, gap distance, and exposure time is core to what we build.

02

Robotic Systems

We run a 6-DoF robotic arm with 0.027mm positional accuracy. The arm maps wound geometry from RealSense depth data, converts it to a G-code scan path, and delivers plasma with closed-loop thermal feedback. You'll work on the full stack from kinematics to clinical protocol.

03

AI & Biophysics

Multispectral imaging, wound classification, dosimetry modeling — there's a lot of untapped AI surface area here. Whether it's tissue-state estimation, real-time parameter adaptation, or simulation, we want people who see the intersection of ML and biophysics as a design space.

Document uploads

One page preferred. Recent stuff — whatever represents you best.

Choose file

PDF, DOC, or DOCX

1–3 pages covering how DBD plasma treats chronic wounds and what parameters matter for patient safety. Due April 21.
